[12 Pains of X-MAS]

I liked a lot of the animations

Many of the parts were funny, the kid crying was always good, some of the tree things were funny. There were few that lacked any appeal after the second or third time, like the hangover part, some more animation or visuals would have been nice. I really liked this, some of the head turns were very fluid for being sprited.

I think you got a lot of potential, I liked the madness fitting into something other than violence, but I want to see an all out madness movie from you.

Glad you liked this =D. Yeah I'm really proud of those parts with the whiny little kid. And I like being able to make madness with or without violence- gives me more choices for content.

But I think I know what you mean- I admit I was probably repetitive, to some degree, with multiple (but not all) things in this. And I'm sure my next madness thing released will give you that "all out madness movie" from me that you say you'd like to see.

Amazing piece of work

I'll try to be helpful,
The flash is very well made and is very well animated and the length is amazing, but when the length is so long there needs to be more story. The animation is kind of like a book, there is a lot of filler, normally words but in this pauses and random slow movements, like the 2 scenes where Lucy sat and shook for a few hundred frames. While 22 minutes is an achievement, you could have had at least 3 story lines fit into the space more comfortably, most people skimp on animation to try to tell a story very fast this story seemed strung out to fill a long animation. More impressive than the former but its a ten minute flash, which is still amazing but is strung out to 22 minutes. The one thing I cannot dispute is how the animation is solid, I understand the compression takes away some of the finer details but I can see you put a lot of effort into every single background and character.

I'm not a fan of anime but I would like to see more of your work, just some more substance to accompany the animation, even if it is something like with big action scenes, not violent, more like a disney movie. You have the ability to push up to make nice action motion scenes, I'd like to see you use these abilities, hopefully your new Wacom will make this a reality

Despite the possibly overdone critisism, which I hope is more constructive, this is a very good flash, people who don't like anime can enjoy it and I am sure someone big on this art style will love it. Great job!

Great animation, I wanted to see more Harry.

I don't like all the other catobles though, a Catablepa is an actual thing.

Hail to the King

I have watched this thing dozens of times and still have no words to describe its brilliance. Your ability to animate these sprites seems to be impossible for flash, I don't know how you do this but it is beyond words.

I will go out to wager this is possibly the best flash I have seen, there is only one other one that maybe compares.

Outside of sheer awe, Chameleon either is considered a lot weaker in health or Akuma has some sort of high health because Chameleon would have won by far if there wasn't some sort of bias in my opinion, he did way more damage and was overall faster and more evasive, Chameleon would do a huge combo and damage a little while Akuma could double the damage in half the hits. The MK characters would defeat the SF ones in my opinion, although having story along with the SF would be easier than MK. Still a little saddened by the defeat of MK.

Love the costumes

The costumes were worth watching, the props in general were worth watching, look out! Football! I liked the piece of ventilation on his back. A great short film, I love 8mm stuff. My only complaint was while it was funny most of the time it was stale, but the silliness made me watch the whole thing.

Funnier

As much as I thought the Louis bits were some of the funnier things I have ever heard, you topped it here, the fast pacing would have made anything funny, but if you made this without the quick face flashes it would be lame.

[Madness Combat 5.5]

Short, sweet, and to the point.

Excellent work, your best animation so far. Everytime you seem to add a new element, from bullet casings to blood splats to blood on swords, but it all has come together flawlessly. I could complain about length but it was like 2 minutes of....well madness. The animation seemed far smoother and you definately stepped up with the simultaneous animation of both of them. Aggregation had some of that but it was very sporadic and had lots of pauses, this gave me a head ache of joy flipping between two characters killing as beautifully as any other movie has had a chance at.

Sanford and Deimos are some bad ass characters, and I was hoping for more developement but then I remembered, this is Madness Combat, not a book or a 2 hour long movie, this is M-A-D-N-E-S-S C-O-M-B-A-T. The new background animations and even some of the plain camera angles and effects were above expectation, although I doubt you can top all of the amazing flame work you did in MC7 and 9 Excellent work champ, loved it, now I have to watch it a few hundred more times, L4D2 will wait.

I always have to feel reviewy so I will give one criticism, although most of the blood animation was fluid, some of the new blood had no physics too it, it looked kinda like a paper towel blowing in the air. It also hung around too long, I know it would be impossible to reanimate every blood thing so there has to be some continuity errors but some seemed way out of proportion.

Well, thats all I can complain about, length isn't a complaint, its a flash movie, not a blockbuster.

Take your time, this shorter one was beautiful.

Because when you did the black dot crying eyes thing I coughed and laughed at the same time. Great stuff man. Love your work, and don't change it to english, Russian is a better language. Subtitles are nice though.

Pills joke

Really needed a pills joke. Other then that, pretty orgasmic. I liked the multiple redrawn faces, added a great touch.

Valve should have kept this gang in for L4D2, the only awesome one now is Coach who is basically Tyler Perry without the ointment or the lawsuits.

Now you need to make one with a boomer and a smoker.

[Break Through the Madness]

Stands out

This movie stands out from all the other madness movies this year. You did a good job with the animation and the smoothness, but everyone seems to have done that pretty well, but you did two things that stood out.

1st, you either used different or made your own fire effects, which I something I am failing miserably at doing. Most of the time when people make them they seem choppy but yours were very fluid and realistic.

2nd and most unique, I don't know why but the blood effects were the first thing I really noticed, the blood was probably the best animated blood I've seen, even comparable to Krinkel's work. I can't say the blood is realistic because it never is but yours was very fluid and life-like. I don't know, I ran out of things to say after my 5th review, but your movie gave me a lot to review. Good job, I hope you win something.
